Dallas (Dallas County) – Mujeres Banderas III, a long-time real estate partnership comprised primarily of CREW members in Dallas and San Francisco, recently closed on the sale of a 16,000-square-foot warehouse property in Southern Dallas.

Located on Duncanville Road, the property was owned by Mujeres Banderas for more than 10 years It is the last real estate asset owned by the Mujeres Banderas partnerships.

The partners involved in the Duncanville Road property included CREW Dallas members Diane ButlerKathy MulgrewIrene HosfordCatherine HowellMichelle HudsonJanice PetersEliza SolenderLorraine Teel and Kathy Treat. A group of CREW San Francisco members who formed a partnership, Athena Duncanville Investors, LLC also invested with the group.

The Mujeres Banderas partnerships were comprised of a diverse group of Dallas Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) members who met in the Spring of 2001 to discuss a way to use their collective commercial real estate expertise, to invest in real estate, increase their knowledge base, achieve career independence, and enhance CREW relationships.

Over the years, various Mujeres Banderas partnerships owned three warehouses and served as a lender on property in the Bishop Arts area in Dallas. In 2007, Mujeres Banderas won the CREW Network Deal of the Year Award for its work.

Mujeres Empresarias, Inc. (women business owners) is a corporation formed to manage properties and partnerships and is owned by Eliza Solender and Lorraine Teel. Solender serves as President, and there is a board of directors composed of Solender, Teel, Michelle Hudson and Diane Butler.
