There are few decisions that are more critical to a non-profit than selecting the right office. Eliza's guidance during the entire process was superb. Whether it was advising the World Affairs Council's executive staff, working with the real estate task force or negotiating effectively with the brokers and owners of the possible locations, Eliza's knowledge of the market and ability to listen, while providing sound judgment was instrumental in helping us make a decision that made sense for the World Affairs Council. Our deal was not very large; however, you would have not known this by the amount of time and energy she devoted to making sure that we had the best advice. It was also very evident that she has an outstanding reputation among brokers, owners and within the not-for-profit community. It is with complete confidence that I would recommend her to my colleagues.

In recent years, Solender Hall assisted the Wilkinson Center with a variety of real estate needs, including a land purchase, acquisition and renewal of leased space for our administrative and program needs. In each case, I found Eliza and her team to be thorough, professional, savvy and smart. I have found their understanding of the unique needs of nonprofits, and their sensitivity to being utmost stewards of donor dollars, to be rare in the industry. When it comes to making the right decisions with space and real estate needs, you can trust Solender Hall, and should.

Eliza Solender is a remarkable combination of business woman, real estate professional and supportive friend to non-profits who use her services. She is practical, creative in coming up with workable solutions, and cognizant of the inner workings of non-profit boards and staffs. She perceives and wants what is best for her clients and has the highest integrity as a person and as a broker.

REACH, Inc. recently received funding to operate a center for independent living in Collin County. The first thing I did after getting this news was to call Eliza and request assistance in finding affordable and wheelchair accessible office space in the City of Plano. Eliza quickly compiled a list of available rental spaces that met my criteria and we quickly settled on a space in the Brandywine complex. Eliza then spent many hours helping me negotiate a lease with input from the property manager and REACH’s attorney. Without the help and support of Eliza and Solender/Hall, the stressful and hectic process of setting up a new office would have consumed too much of my time.
